Pikkie Park offers two distinct programmes designed to support your family through every stage of childhood. Whether your little one needs full-time educare or your school-going child needs a safe, supportive space after school, we’ve got you covered —

from 3 months old all the way to Grade 7.

Educare Programme

Ages: 3 months – 6 years

Our Educare programme provides a warm, nurturing environment where babies, toddlers, and young children can grow, explore, and develop at their own pace. Under the guidance of experienced caregivers, many of whom have been with Pikkie Park for over 20 years, your child will receive attentive, loving care in a home-like setting.

During school terms, we follow a structured daily routine combined with engaging weekly themes that cover language, numeracy, creativity, physical development, and social skills. Every activity is designed to be age-appropriate, stimulating, and fun, because we believe that play is the most powerful form of learning.

Parents receive bi-annual progress reports that give you a detailed picture of your child’s development across all key areas. We’re not just caring for your child, we’re partnering with you to give them the very best start in life.

Aftercare Programme

Ages: Grade R – Grade 7 (approximately 6–13 years)

Pikkie Park’s Aftercare programme is much more than just a place for children to wait until parents finish work, it’s a vibrant, supportive community where school-going children can unwind, complete homework, make friends, and enjoy structured activities in a safe, supervised environment.

We cater for children from Grade R (around age 6) all the way through to Grade 7 (around age 13), giving your family continuity of care throughout the primary school years. For working parents, this is invaluable, you have one trusted partner supporting your child’s after-school needs for over seven years.

During term time, children receive homework support, enjoy healthy snacks, and participate in age-appropriate activities. During school holidays, we run structured, fun-filled programmes with outings, activities, and themed adventures, ensuring your child is engaged, entertained, and safe while you’re at work.
